Buffalo- GM1 Casey Lawrence took his 7th loss, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings. Zach Pop allowed a two-run homer in the 6th. Thomas Hatch pitched a clean 7th. Nathan Lukes singled in the 3rd to drive home Cam Eden. Eden stole his 31st base to extend his team lead. Tanner Morris singled in the 5th inning, driving in Rafael Lantigua. GM2 Zach Thompson continues his string of solid starts, allowing one run over 5 innings. Hagen Danner allowed 3 solo home runs in the 6th inning. Jimmy Burnette pitched a clean 7th. The Herd waited until the 7th inning to make some noise, scoring their only runs on a Spencer Horwitz RBI single and Jordan Luplow RBI single.

New Hampshire- The Fisher Cats were held off the board, being limited to 6 hits with no extra-base hits. Chad Dallas allowed one run over 4.2IP with 6K. Fitz Stadler allowed a solo home in the 6th inning; otherwise, he looked good finishing the 5th and holding the Sea Dogs to 2 hits. Luis Quinones, Juan Nunez, and Connor Cooke held Portland scoreless on one hit while striking out 7 batters.

Vancouver- The C’s scored 12 runs on 11 hits. Dasan Brown and Gabriel Martinez went deep, driving in 3 and 5 runs respectively. Vancouver scored 4 runs in the 1st, 3 runs in the 4th, 2 runs in the 5th and 8th, and one run in the 7th. Adam Macko allowed 3 runs on 7 hits over 4 innings. Cooper Benson pitches two scoreless innings. Eric Pardinho allowed two run on five hits over two innings. Sam Ryan pitched a scoreless 9th.

Dunedin- The D-Jays scored 3 runs in the 2nd and 7th inning, winning 6 to 4. Most of St. Lucie damage was done against Rafael Ohashi who allowed 3 runs over 5.2IP while walking two and striking out two. Michael Brewer allowed one run over 3 innings on two hits with 5K. Dunedin ran wild, stealing 7 bases.

Today we turn our attention to Dasan Brown and Gabriel Martinez.

OF Dasan Brown played CF and batted 2nd for the Canadians. Dasan only had one hit in the game but he scored two runs and drove in 3 runs while going deep in the 4th inning. Brown has progressively improved with each month, batting .138 in April, .233 in May, and .297 in June. Over the past 15 games, Dasan has 3 doubles and 3 home runs with 7 runs scored and 9RBI in 12 games. He is also slashing .310/.362/.595. In 60 games, Dasan Brown is batting .230 with a .626OPS, 6 doubles, a triple, 5HR, and a team-leading 19 stolen bases.

OF Gabriel Martinez played RF and batted 6th for the C’s. Gabby went 3-for-5 with 2 runs scored and 5 runs batted in with a double and a home run. Martinez has also strung together quality games over the past two weeks, slashing .300/.341/.500 with 2 doubles and 2 home runs while driving in 9 runs. For the season, Martinez has 9 doubles, a triple, and 6HR in 58 games. He’s batting .250 with a .692OPS.
