Respected coach indirectly warns Cowboys about potential draft target

The Dallas Cowboys have a distinct advantage over the rest of the NFL in one key area.

Part of that advantage is due to their location.

The Cowboys, more specifically their headquarters and practice facility are located in Frisco, Texas.

In this north Texas city, the Cowboys have made a complex known as The Star.

It is a complex in which businesses, restaurants, hotels, and even gyms have moved, and they all prosper.

However, there is one more thing that calls the Star home.

Duke Manyweather, a former collegiate offensive linemen turned trainer for NFL athletes has made the Star home for his operations with OL Masterminds.

Duke holds an annual offensive line summit at the Star, where the best offensive linemen from all over the country, at every level come, talk shop and learn from each other.

He also spends time training incoming rookies during the pre-draft process. In fact, he often works with Cowboys rookie offensive linemen, and he recently trained Tyler Smith, and I'm sure is no small part of the reason for his early success.

Manyweaher took to Twitter today, in response to a mock draft from Peter Schrager of the NFL Network.

In this mock, Schrager had Zach Frazier, a center out of West Virginia go at pick 29 to the Detroit Lions.

Mayweather would have some thoughts, claiming there were NFL teams picking before 29th overall that "want" Frazier.

Did Duke just hint at a potential Cowboys' draft strategy? Frazier is a potential target that's been tied to the Cowboys in trade down scenarios, but Manyweather's words might serve as an indirect warning that they wouldn't find him on the board.

The Cowboys pick at 24 and they are in need of a center. The player plays at a position of need, he is training with someone who has been training Cowboys' offensive linemen for years.

If the shoe fits.
